Dan Boboia, D.D.S.
Dr. Dan Boboia or “Dr. Dan”, as our little patients call him, grew up in a Portland, Oregon. He graduated with honors from the University of Oregon earning two bachelor degrees in biology and psychology as well as a minor in chemistry. Raised in a family of physicians made him realize early on that he had a passion for working with patients. Upon carefully considering all career options in healthcare he decided on a different route then his parents and became the first dentist in the family. Dr. Dan completed the Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) program at the prestigious Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in 2003. After graduation he went on to finish a 1-year General Practice Residency at Denver General Hospital. It was here where he refined his skills in all aspects of dentistry but focused heavily on pediatrics and oral surgery. Dr. Dan furthered his training in both oral surgery and dental anesthesiology at the Medical College of Georgia where he completed a one-year oral maxillofacial surgery internship as well as an additional year in surgery and anesthesia. He received his internship certificate in oral and maxillofacial surgery from the Medical College of Georgia School of Medicine. He went on to obtain his Board Certification with the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology and became a Fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. After 2 years in private practice his passion for working with children brought him back into training. In 2010 he completed the pediatric dental residency at NYU Langone / St. Joseph’s Hospital in Rhode Island. Dr. Dan served as Chief Resident during his last year of pediatric residency and obtained his Board Certification with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in 2011. After almost 9 years of private practice in Arizona Dr. Dan finally realized his dream of relocating to the Lone Star State (something he had been longing to do since high school). Upon joining Cedar Park Pediatric Dentistry in 2017 he followed in Dr. Vasut’s footsteps and completed a 2-year orthodontic training program through the Academy of GP orthodontics. He then attained his Fellowship status with the Academy of GP orthodontics in August of 2019. Dr. Dan and his wife have three wonderful children and three bulldogs. Aside from his family Dr. Dan loves 3 things: Harley Davidson Motorcycles, the great outdoors, and the Dallas Cowboys. He looks forward to using his extensive training to provide the best possible care for your children.
